Folder Colorizer is a nice free applet to play around with. You can download it at Phone Stick, Folder Colorizer, Memory Optimizer, Volume Concierge and others.

I earnectly request Brink to add it to his list.

Maybe try again - I have no problems getting onto the site and it is a well recognized free application.
It's only an app if you need to calibrate your monitor for consistent output for printing photos or web display. As I said before I find the inbuilt MS capability very poor.

Win CDEmu is another great CD emulator that mounts .iso images... I didn't see it on the list...

Hum Brink didn't notice the ADWCleaner there or the free BitDefender the latter is very picky though. Maybe is because the ADW is from bleeping computer?

I noticed comodo firewall was up on that list, should add comodo internet security up there also. They have a free version of it which is the download to the right called comodo antivirus free. Has two other paid versions but the free version is pretty good and comes with a anti virus and there famous firewall. Antivirus - Download Free Antivirus Software From Comodo

I think it already is MIG as I might have added it a while ago but I stand to be corrected. Oh nad be VERY careful with those utilities they can be very intrusive and hard to get rid of. I mucked up my latest test machine for a while with the cleaner feature.

I have since switched to the BitDefender free - very light on and no nagging . Free Antivirus Software - Download Bitdefender Australia Free Edition

the program Types should have a warning that it can make a system unbootable an unrepairable. I just did a full reinstall because it changed the file association for ALL .exe files.

Ouch, downloading and merging the .reg file for the EXE option in the tutorial below may have been able to fix that without reinstalling.

Well Shawn, IE is an .exe file too, as is regedit, Task Manager, system restore....
Believe me I tried it all, even a repair install could not fins a Windows 7 installation. Safe mode wouldn't start with the install media. I have it all back to normal now though. (normal in my world

)
