    Yup, LibreOffice is the one.
I also think LibreOffice is probably a good free office suite. Unfortunately the lack of macro compatibility, due to Visual Basic copyright issues I think, seriously limits spreadsheet compatibility with MS Excel.

Why have I only just started using Foxit instead of Adobe? It opens files so fast even on my work pc!

I think the reason is that Adobe usually comes pre-installed. It took me a long time to find Foxit also.

I use Foxit too, I got tired of continual Adobe updates and the extreme bloat.

Also if you really think small can be better, you can go to one of those old version sites and get an older release. I'm using v. 2.0 Foxit Reader. Works fine for what I need. :)

Have just been testing these freebies

Comodo System Utilities Tools - Disk Registry Cleaner Software | Comodo

    Comodo Programs Manager

The utilities (1st ref) is like lightning and the program manager so easy to use.

I ran the utilities then CCleaner and CC did find some tit bits but not an awful lot plus the Comodo app scanned everything.

I'm sure you know that registry cleaners do way more harm than good and are NOT recommended.
