TightVNC just shows a white screen

    TightVNC just shows a white screen


    Java loaded up for me and I logged in and the cursor seems to follow my mouse, but everything is white.

    I've never used Remote Desktop so I didnt bother with it, since I didnt have time to figure out how to use it before I went to work.

    Give RealVNC a try, used that last week and it worked ok.

Wondering what this white box is... shows up in random spots on my desktop. Here is screenshot attached.
