Solved Adobe PDF is not opening documents with the proper font!
For some reason, every PDF document that I'm viewing right now seems to have its fonts corrupted. The font seems corrupted and more jagged.
Here's a screenshot of a PDF created by MS Word using Arial and Times New Roman to illustrate the corruption.

You just have font smoothing turned off.
Here is how to turn
font smoothing back on.
