Windows 7 - Ohh, Photoshop CS4..

Running a HP Pavilion Entertainment, more than enough RAM & etc., Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit build 7068.

Alright -- my friend who put my computer together couldn't get CS4 (Master Collection, but I'm only installing the bridge and 64-bit CS4) to work, but he left the burned discs on my computer for me try if I ever wanted to.

I've tried four or five times now, and after the installation it says my license has expired, even when I go through on the trial part. I don't know where he got the CS4 from, I know he didn't leave me a serial key which is the majority of my problem, but..

After I uninstall, I do the clean uninstall, as well, just to be safe, but it doesn't seem to make a difference and it always says there's nothing else to erase anyway. My friend got me the license fix, but the crack.bat file didn't work, so I did it manually. But then I couldn't overwrite the hosts file, so I'm just totally at a loss.

Suggestions? I'm desperate for a photoshop program. :c

I know that, thank you. And I apologize -- I trusted my friend, since he put the discs on here I figured that he was just making it easier for me, so I wouldn't have to bug him for the discs when I tried myself. And when I ran into problems, I didn't want to bug him, so I Googled things. I didn't realize, okay? I'm sorry.

IrfanView might do what you need. The program itself is pretty light, but gains a lot of flexibility if you add the Plugin Pack.
