Licensed on One User Account, not licenced on another account...

    I was using a friend's computer.
I created another administrator account while I was on her administrator account, so when she woke up, she can go on using her own account without interrupting what I am doing -even mistakenly- on the other account.
I wanted to start a program, and the program told me that it was not licensed. I switched on to her account and started the program and saw that it was licensed and started without any problems.
    Why would this happen?
Both accounts were logged in by the way.
And I also were able to hear sounds from her account such as message income, etc. while I was on my account. Is that normal behavior?

    Welcome
It sounds like the word license is from the software and not the OS. If the software must be paid for, it does not recognize you a a legit user, this MAY be a programming error. You may want to make sure that you have permission, to run it (from the OS point of view).
