Does flash work ok in your browser(s)?
What do you use to read email?
Are you saying some flash attachments work, and some don't, using the same email program/website? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number home built OS Win 7 Pro x64 SP1, Win 7 Ult x86 SP1 CPU AMD Athlon II x4 620 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-MA785G-UD3H Memory 6GB GSkill DDR2 800 Graphics Card AMD 4670 GPU + AMD 4200 IGP Sound Card on board Realtek ALC889A Monitor(s) Displays RCA 40" LCD TV, Insignia 32" LCD TV, HP 15" LCD monitor Screen Resolution 1680 x 1050... In that case I would uninstall it and reinstall from the Adobe site. | My System Specs | | |

I think the Adobe flash site has a video so you can test your flash install.
You can also test your flash install on Hulu...
When you think you have adobe flash installed go to Hulu and see if you can play a video. Watch TV. Adobe's "about test" site will tell you which version that it detects inside a given browser. Here is the link to that test: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ but be aware the info in this thread: Adobe's latest critical security update pushes scareware
I happen to use filehippo's website for getting the installer for IE flash and one for non-IE flash.
