One thing I just remembered was CCleaner, it deleted some unnecessary keys, and repaired keys in the registry, mostly unused file extensions, and some other stuff. Could this have anything to do with my problem?
Yes. CCleaner's registry cleaner doesn't work very well with Windows 7. It works well with XP, but not Windows 7. I HIGHLY do NOT reccommend ANY thord party cleaners/ optimizers. Use the built in disk defragmenter with disk cleanup, and run regular virus scans along with disabling startup items in msconfig, then you should have a fast Windows 7 installation all of the time.

Sadly, my CCleaner registry backups can't be found, and I've been using it since I installed Windows 7 a few years ago. Is there a way to make system restore restore back to the first CCleaner registry clean without messing with my other programs? Or is it better to attempt a repair install??

Also, a quick question about SevenForums, how do you get both picture and text into your signatures, I saw the add image by URL/Upload box in user settings, but somehow it didn't work.

I'm sorry, but no. You can't restore back to the first registry clean unless you have a restore point. Even if you did, you would lose all of the programs since then. I recommend that you do a repair install: Repair Install
Also, I was able to upload a pic for my signature from my pc, then I put the picture below the words in my signature.
