Installing Apache Server onto Windows 7

Hi Guys,

Nothing in Life is ever simple lol.

I am trying to carry out a trial on PHPList a baulk email distribution system. Before I can use it I need to be using Apache Server in order to run it.

So Stage one install Apache Server on to my Windows 7 PC seems to have worked but how can I clarify whether I have correctly downloaded and configured it?

Any Suggestions would be appriciated, as far as I can see I have but when I tried do follow the install directions for PHPList they might as well have been written in Martian and I am not sure if this because I have not correctly set up or installed Apache Server.
