Windows 7: shutdown after finished

Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
shutdown after finished

I looked though the lists of free/recommended Windows 7 software and didn't notice any auto shutdown app. I'd more specifically like and auto shutdown after something is done running, or a download finishes. Does anyone know of an app that does this? Is it possible to do it within win 7 home premium without an app? I see several available but was hoping someone had experience with something like that.

Windows 7 Pro with SP1 32bit

Many applications like Defragmenters, Torrent Clients etc have this facility inbuilt. That normally suffices for most users.

Frankly I have not come across any application of the type that you are looking for. You can however get an application at Idle Shutdown : Download Software to Shutdown Idle Computer that shuts down a computer when idle.
