Hi,

Try running the installer with admin privileges. Tutorial here: Run as Administrator

If that doesn't work, try installing it through the built in admin account. Enable it by following this tutorial. Built-in Administrator Account - Enable or Disable

Stephen

EDIT - Also, make sure itunes is completely uninstalled using this tool Download Revo Uninstaller Freeware - Free and Full Download - Uninstall software, remove programs, solve uninstall problems

Read the tutorial again. If you use option 2, lower down in the tutorial - the elevated command prompt, it works for all editions.

If you install it for all users, yes. That's actually an option during a program's installation. Some programs don't have this and some do. But usually, it does install it for all users. I assume that will work!

Check the log to see what technically caused this.
Find your iTunes installer, right click & click properties, copy its location. Nest open Run (WinKey + R) Paste the location of the setup then add this "
Code:
/iTunesSetup.exe /l*v C:\log.txt

The input should look like this:
Code:
c:/folder/iTunesSetup.exe /l*v C:\log.txt

Press Enter and do the installation normally.

After an erroneous installation:
Upload/Attach log.txt located at C:\

Note: If you installer has a different name, change iTunesSetup.exe to that name.
