Looking to get free software for nonprofit, best way to start?

Hello,

My friend and I have just started a club at our highschool, where we repair and donate computers to those in need. We have all of the hardware, but we were wondering where we would be able to get free copies of a Windows OS to use and install on all the the computers. Is there a program through Microsoft or another organization that enables us to do this? Once again, it is all nonprofit. Id appreciate any help or advice.

Thank you!

The computers that come for repair must either be having the OS already installed or if the drive is wiped clean then the donor should be providing an installation disk which would generally be an XP installation CD.

You may try and request donors for their old installation disks. Those who have upgraded to higher versions of Windows 7 might even donate their older DVDs.

A friend of mine has a legit company set up to do just this, and is an official non-profit. He gets licenses direct from Microsoft.
