Netlimiter 2.0.10 x64 caused windows 7 completely crash and force restart. Is anyone know what are the alternatives. I would like to shape ongoing and outgoing traffic per applications.

I had a play with these two a long while back, unfortunately I can't remember if it was x86 or x86-64 OS I was running at the time.

Netmon Network Monitor seems to be too complicated and advanced. Bandwidth manager for windows, refuse to install in my 7 x64.

I installed Bandwidth manager for windows and it worked (I have x32), but couldn't find a way to limit the speed for a specific application.
and I couldn't even try Netmon Network Monitor because there isn't a way to download before buying

i have to question you on this....

i see you are on 7 x64. Well, netlimiter didnt have support for x64 Vista until version 2.0.10. And they have announced on their webpage on march 3rd 2009 that version 3 will support windows 7. Now I myself have tried installing this app under 7 x86 version 2.xx. No matter how its installed using every install trick, it doesnt want to load the netlimiter controller, and upon reboot you get a bsod.

So, i'm curious, are we talking about the same program here ?

I have installed Netlimiter 1.3 successfully under Windows 7 x32. It gave a warning during the installation that Netlimiter is not compatible with this version of Windows, but installed anyway. The program runs well, I can easily control the speed of down- and uploads with it. HOWEVER...after installation of Netlimiter, I cannot view any webpages with internet explorer, it just changes the addess automatically into Vista Forums and gives an error "cannot find the page". Strange, because internet is properly connected, DNS servers are ok, and i CAN view website with Netscape...

netlimiter 1.3 is the most popular versin before the 2.0. I used for a long time. now I am using cfosspeed it has its own limitng capacity in options. it also determines the upload and download limits and configures them.

Windows 7 x64. Build 7100

Hey folks, Just installed, restarted and quickly tested Netlimiter 2.0.10 x64 on the 7100 build. Happy to report that I haven't seen any problems so far, everything seems good.

The installer was softblocked, and needed to be in compatibility mode (I used vista-sp2) to allow the install, but it looks like whatever was BSOD'ing in earlier builds has been resolved.

kojin: Did you install the Pro version (monitor and control bandwith) of Netlimiter 2.0.10? Or only the Lite version (monitor bandwith).

And what do you mean with softblocked?!
