Welcome to Seven Forums ann16. It should install. Try downloading the installer again. Download to your desktop, and right click the installer and choose Run as administrator. If you are trying to install from a non administrator account, that would also be an issue. A Guy

Have you looked at SAS to see if it is installable on your version of windows 7?
The system specifications might not support installing on windows 7 home basic
due to some features in windows not being installed in home basic.

you might want to check out the system specs for install of SAS at

http://support.sas.com/resources/sysreq/hosts/pc/
