Windows 7: Windows Live Mail on Win 7 HP 64b

Windows Live Mail on Win 7 HP 64b

Hallo.
My Father have got Windows Live Mail from 4 months on his notebook wint Windows Home Premium 64-bit. From 3 weeks we have got a problem. All windows were black. But when I open Live Mail on compatibility winth Windows XP everything is working.
Restoring windows status from days before fault don't give any results.

Sorry for my english, but I'm Polish

Welcome to the Seven Forums, Moransiu.

Check for viruses first then run the SFC. Tutorial fir SFC is at SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker

Then for starters you might try to uninstall Windows Live Mail and install it again.

There is no viruses. Before he was using Avira, but now he has go a Microsoft Essential Security. I will try SFC. Is it smth like chkdsk?

Chkdsk checks the hard disk for errors including bad sectors etc. SFC checks for any errors in the file system and also tries repair them. They are not quite the same.
