"Remind Me" type Birthday, spec events, etc Anyone know of a good reminder type software for Windows 7 64 ??? I had a great one called 'Remind Me' but it wouldn't run in a 64 bit environment so now I'm in the hunt for a replacement. I'd paid a few bucks for it a few years ago and contacted the author but he had no plans to put it in a 64 bit package so...
Free is always preferred but I'd buy another one if anyone knows of any good ones. TIA | My System Specs |

Doesn't look like it's really suitable for a birthday tracker is it??? I'm kind of looking for something to load the friends and family birthdays into and it didn't look like this even offered an 'annual' selection. Noted daily, weekly, monthly, one time, etc. What do ya think ? Thanks for the heads up on it though - didn't know it existed in 7. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell OS Win 7 Pro 64 |

There are also online reminder sites that will send you emails. I use one for rent reminders, it displays an ad in the email, but it is free. Memo To Me - Free Reminder Service

I bought C-Organizer Pro a few years ago after testing many PIM's.
It's v3.7, and I can't talk about newer versions.
v3.7 is 32-bit but I run it on my Win 7 64-bit with no issues.
You might try the latest version. I've been meaning to, though I'd have to pay full boat again because of the upgrade policy. 40 bucks. I'm cheap about buying sofware, but I would do it if I like it. I've been *real* happy with it.
I don't think the trial download is crippled, but not certain.
I never forget a birthday or appointment any more.
It's a mainstay for me, for addresses, phone numbers, passwords, links and misc data.
So it's not a simple reminder, but that's why I first bought it.
Recurring, and all the bells/whistles to select when you plug in the birthday.
Same with appointments. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU QuadCore Intel Core i7 920, 2666 MHz (20 x 133) Motherboard Asus P6T Memory 6134 MB (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM) Graphics Card (2 - SLI) NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250 (1024 MB) Sound Card Onboard Realtek ALC888/1200 @ Intel 82801JB IC Monitor(s) Displays HDMII Screen Resolution 1280 x 800 PSU Corsair 550 Case iStarUSA S-10000BL Black Hard Drives Crucial M4 (64 GB SSD)

I'm embarrassed to admit, as an IT guy, to keeping track of events by jotting them down in pen on a physical calendar. In my defense, it's a pretty calendar with pictures and everything
One of the things I do in the new year is transfer important events from last year's calendar to the new one, heh. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Self-built rig OS Win7 Pro x64 CPU Koa i5-2550K Memory 8 GB Graphics Card Sapphire ATI 6870 1GB GDDR5 Sound Card RealTek HD Audio / ATI HDMI Audio Monitor(s) Displays Samsung HDTV Monitor T23A350 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech G110 Hard Drives - SSD (C:)
