Windows 7: DVD43 failing on many DVDs

I am ripping the entire DVD as VideoTS, AudioTS folder, not just the files to be played.. I have maybe 1/2 dozen that have not worked. Many others are fine.

DVD43 scans the DVD and seems to work (no errors). But I can't play the DVD in WMC, or WMPlayer. Wrong region message pops up

They will play OK in VLC.



I want to use WMC because it has a nice large interface for lounge lizard watching.

Any help appreciated.


EDIT: I am ripping the entire DVD because when I tried Handbrake or FabDVD, to rip files only, I had a heap of trouble with Audio being all over the place, and also a couple of DVDs that just had dozens of meaningless files, that were virtually unusable, instead of a single file for the main movie. I do not know why.
