Welcome aboard, edsalan :)
Go to Control Panel > programs and features. Click on Corel Draw Graphics Suit , and click on the "Uninstall\Change" button.
The setup will be started. In the setup, you will find an option "repair". Click the radio button in front of it, and proceed, it will repair the existing installation .
It will fix the issue , hopefully.
Welcome to Seven Forums edsalan. If Arcs suggestion doesn't help. I see others having your issue, and it just started. It's possible a recent windows update might be the cause. You can view your update history and see if any were installed just before this began.
Windows Update - View Update History Details
You can then try a system restore point from before this problem began. A Guy
I had same problem, and u will not believe what it was: you had recently installed searchqu toolbar when installing livid downloader, yeah? Anyway, to solve problem, just go Programs and features , find "serachqu" and uninnstall it.
Problem solved
Dear xitm4n
What a very strange name! (can't imagine that's in your passport).
It seems England cant win any gold medals, but you have certainly become my olympic hero and won a first class gold! My corel draw 5 now works perfectly thank you, thank you, thank you.
kindest regards Edsalan
I am glad You can play with Your Corel now.
I wouldn't want to come out from my home if it was a real name, but I am sure You already now that is cyber-alter-ego, I just wanted to respond to a chit-chat while drinking a cup of tea... It seems that Serbia neither can win any gold, but we can always be champions in corruption, number of smokers, junkies, unemployment etc...
Cheers!
Sto bi rekli, vrlo cudan nikname ali si kralj... Fala puno...
Just wanted to thank you for a great fix. Coreldrw.dll.error code 998 was hurting my business as i use it for dye sublimation of many products. This had me shut down for most of the day yesterday. I tried many other suggested solutions and was about to let geek squad remote in for what would have been 3 or 4 hours for them to find the problem. Instead i tried this forum and after veiwing all the fixes i tried yours first and you made my day uninstalled went into programs deleted the folder, rebooted and back in business...nice work...thanks
