Program Compatibility Assistant won't dissable

This problem came up when i was trying to install some OEM software with my laptop after a fresh install of Windows 7 PRO. The program is Verisoft security manager. Gives me a compatibillty issue with asghost.exe. I have tried all the fixes in this post bellow and none have seemed to work. Compatibility issue - Verisoft Also the PCV serivce is stopped(verified) and disabled through the local policy but it still keeps coming back! Can someone let me know how i can kill this stupid useless feature for good? Regards,

I second the request. "Norton Save and Restore" worked fine in the Beta and RC1 but now is incompatible?? Disabled the services, configured Group Policy. Now what?

You'll both have to wait for the respective companies to release compatible versions - or else uninstall them.

I have the same issue with HP Protect Tools for my 2710p tablet PC....every boot I get the notice, no matter what I check.

So there is truly no way to disable PCV like there was in vista?
