Canon Easy Web Print v1.3 - Now Supports IE9 and Win7 x64
I don't usually promote IE Toolbars. They take up space, add overhead and generally offer few benefits for the user.
But one that I have missed since IE9 was released is Canon Easy Web print.
I was checking for software updates for a new Pixma MG5220 and lo and behold in March 2012 Canon Easy Web Print v1.3 was released and it DOES support IE9 x32 and Windows 7 x64.
NOTE: Only the 32 bit versions of IE itself is supported - ala Adobe Flash.
What does it do? Makes printing web page selections and clips much easier.
I just installed the "new" v1.3 and have not used it much yet but it looks better than the old version and has a clipping function as well. If it performs as well as the old IE7 version I am going to be a very happy camper!
Note that the old version was delivered on CD with the new Pixma. It appears that several new versions of Canon printer apps (Easy Photo Print, etc) were released in March so check your versions!
Check it out at:
Try it. It you do screenshot capture and clips of web pages to print I think you might like it.
