Power DVD not working in Win 7 x64 RTM

Hey guys.

I love Power DVD 9 - with my Gefore 8800 GTS I get awesome video on my HDTV (HDMI over DMI) - problem is no matter what I try it crashes in Win 7 x 64 RTM - It worked on the RC no problem - but I can't get it to work even after the latest Power DVD patches / different versions of Nvidia drivers but no luck; even in compatibility mode - it crashes on the video tab or when I play a video - audio reads as 2.0 and not 5.1

Nero Showtime works well, as does Media Player (although my 5.1 / 7.1 gets messed up, my front channel swaps with the center one in MP and MPC).

Latest codecs / drivers /etc. all installed.

Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Nope Comodo and Nod 32 - could comodo be the culprit?

Update: Uninstalled Comodo - and viola it works + rep mate.

Power settings in Win 7 not working?
I use Performance mode, and set it to NEVER turn off ANYTHING, including the monitor. I hit apply, etc etc. It will hold this setting for a while, then after a reboot, or turning off at night, it loses this setting, and reverts to turn off monitor after 20 minutes. Why is Windows 7...
