    Getting burning software to run


    Hi there again, I have Convertx2DVD and DVDFab installed on my Win 7 Pro 64 bit and both hang at the point after conversion and beginning burn.

    Can anyone tell me what I need to disable in regards to Win 7 to be able to get them to work?

    Other people seem able to get them to work but I don't know what they did to enable the programs to work.

    Have you tried to set the program default associations?

    Have done that but the programs keep saying that the VSO burning engine is started and then the machine locks up

Hi Guys can anybody reccomend a decent DVD burning software capable of burning Movies and Data to disks, preferably free but I don't mind paying for something decent and please do not reccomend Nero tried that on demo and hated it. Steve

I want to back up my DVD's. With XP I would use DVD Shrink and Nero 6. Will I need both of those with 7? Will I have to get the newest version of Nero for 7 or does 7 have its own burning program? Thanks.
