    SRS Audio Essentials Version Confusion

    HP Pavilion Elite HPE 500y
    Windows 7 64 bit
    (1) AMD High Definition Audio Device (2) Realtek High Definition Audio (3) Logitech Microphone (Fusion) (4) SRS Audio

Did a fresh Install v. 1.02.0312 as shown in "Programs and Features" in Win7 Control Panel.
    Installer File: AudioEssentials 1_2_3_12.exe
Clicking on OPTIONS button on SRS Control Panel shows however: version 1.2.3.11
Each time I boot I get an SRS Upgrade Available Window.
Upgrading merely installs the same files as shown above with the same result.

Is this a bug in the current version?

Yep, I also too have, on update, using SRSAudioEssentials_1_2_3_12.exe, the version number 1.2.3.11 and the update notifier still tells me to update.

Also, when I did upgrade, things just weren't working - AE would run, but wouldn't effect the sound. To fix this, I just ran AE as Administrator once (go to C:\Program Files\SRS Labs\SRS Audio Essentials\, right click on AudioEssentials.exe and hit run as Administrator, do my settings, close, then run the program again as normal). I'm pretty sure that fixed it.
