Windows 7: Compatibility mode add-on/software to run in compatibility w/win7?

Compatibility mode add-on/software to run in compatibility w/win7?

Hi there.
Windows 7 has a built-in option to run a software in compatibility mode with earlier versions of windows... of course... we all know that...but as I have dual boot set-up (my old trusted Xp x86 and win7x64) and since MS has decided to stop supporting XP it could be very valuable to have a software for win XP to run in comp. mode with Windows 7.

Drivers in particular... developers seem to not update them at all... so while Windows 7 gets the most it can out of the hardware, XP is stuck, and soon enough may not work at all.

And yes, everyone understands the issues that may arise, but user should be given opportunity to at least decide for himself and give it a shot.

I'm sure MS is gonna be more and more swamped with questions "how can I enable..." type soon enough, utility like that could make it easier for everyone... maybe there already is such software, and if not, that would be a nice gesture from MS to leave XP with hope.

Thank you.
