Best alternative to Google Reader.

Cancelling iGoogle was the last straw, and now I'm planning to move away from Google as much as possible.

First to go is Google Reader. I use it because I can access it from my home computers and from my BlackBerry, and it sycs the read/unread status of articles among computers.
Is there anything else like that? I'd be OK with installing applications, providing they offer a useable experience on both Blackberry and Windows.

Thanks.
