    Complete uninstall of Sandboxie

Hello folks. Sandboxie was great until it got annoying with the delay to purchase dialogue, so I decided to uninstall it. From what I can tell, the uninstall went purfectly well except for what remains for the limited user account.

The "Run sandboxed" option in a context menu is still there but with a broken link due to the sandboxie having been uninstalled. I deleted all contents as suggested before first uninstalling it, and I've tried reinstalling it and uninstalling using first windows uninstaller, Revo (couldn't locate it), and Ccleaner, as well as using Ccleaner to delete all sandboxie leftover registry entries.

Any help would be apreciated, as I am easily annoyed by this problem. Thanks!

Perhaps I just need to restore my context menu somehow. I thought Brink created a tutorial for such a thing but cannot find it. So far I've only located how to restore the context menu>"New" part from one of his tutorials. If anyone knows how to do this, do let me know!

**Looked through the whole list, didn't find anything relating to sandboxie. Cleaned everything extra out with Ccleaner, and searched my entire computer for sandboxie, default box, etc (different keywords) and nothing came up.

When I try to use a program - "run sandboxed" from the context menu, an explorer.exe error pops up saying "application not found". This only happens with the limited user account, not the admin.

If you or anyone else has any other ideas, they would be most welcome

How to remove Sandboxie from context menus…

    1. reinstall Sandboxie.
    2. if already installed, then use 'Delete Contents' for sandboxes
    3. (in Sandboxie) click 'Configure' > 'Windows Shell Integration'
    4. uncheck all items and click OK
    5. uninstall Sandboxie

    You may have to reboot.

No more context menu references to Sandboxie.

I'm glad to help. Sandboxie's incomplete uninstall had me annoyed for quite a while, too. It bothered me so much, that when I came across your post, I joined this forum to answer your question.

Sandboxie should fix this but probably won't.
