Anything like MOC for Windows (and a few others)?

Hello again,

I'm using my installation of Windows 7 (as is everyone else here I assume). I previously used a nice lightweight music player called MOC (music on console) for my audio player. I also used something called guake. Cygwin really isn't doing it for me because of the lack of available software for it. I have Gentoo x86_64 dual booted but I'm wondering what better methods I could use if I wanted a seamless integration of Windows and Linux on my computer. I've heard of something called CooperativeLinux, but I do not know how well it works, can anyone vouch for it?

Thanks in advance,
