    Extract the files to a folder.
    Open Device Manager
    Open modem
    Update driver
    Navigate to folder
    select inf
    Apply

    Failing that

    All modems have an FCC ID on a sticker or printed directly on the circuit board. Using that number, it is possible to identify all modems built from the same chipset.

    I do not want to do this using that method. A new modem is so inexpensive - as low as $5 if you shop right. Where do you live? I can mail you a modem with working drivers.

    Antman, when I browse to the folder where i extracted the files to, there is nothing showing in the folder> What do I need to do to see the folders contents plz? I appreciate ur help greatly.

    You are looking for this file. MDMCHIPV.INF

    You may see nothing because the file name of file type field is not blank

    I can see that file when i open it on my desktop just not when i try to view it thu device manager> How do I go abouts seeing it through DM, plz?
