Caller ID over PC

Just curious, is it possible to get caller ID over my PC without a modem present in my PC? If so, what software can I use to do this?

thx

$ 39.95 + shipping ($ 6.95 I think) which includes first year of service ($19.95)

requires highspeed intenet connection. You get a new phone # & area code of your choice.

Just Google, Bing, or Yahoo search MagicJack

I got it for my business here in a rural area. I do a lot of long distance faxes & long distane phone calls. It has cut my LD bill by 85% per month since May. & it evns works with a cordless phone base unit plugged in to it.

Doc, does caller ID pop up on my PC when I get a call? If so and I have a browser open, does a pop up msg pop up on top of all active windows and not hide behind them when I receive a call?

Aslo, can I keep my current phone number and area code?

Doc - I am thrilled that you have found a viable solution for your telecommunications needs.

This career telcom professional advises:

Be careful.

MagicJack has limited applicability and will not function correctly on all systems. The companies marketing and distributing the product have a reputation worthy of scrutiny before you provide them access to your bank account.
