Hi OsherHazaz, welcome to 7F! :)
It is explaned here: Michael's TechBlog: Create a self-extracting archive exe ,
And here at the 7z forum: SourceForge.net: 7-Zip: Search forums You will have to do a little reading here.
thanks for replaying but this is not what i meant to
i did that thing but now when i click on the archive with right click it show me a few option of extraction unlike exe file
Have you tried left clicking on the test file?
Once you have it set up you don't right click, you either single or double left click, depending on how you have the option to open a file set. To open, and run the zip file.
In researching this for the OP I saw your link then decided the one I posted might be a little better, it's just a matter of semantics really, as in what a poster may think is best for the OP's situation.
Yours would certainly be a viable solution.
In case that did not work I also added the link to 7z's Forum, that points to other 7z users trying to create self-extracting .zips, and what they have tried to create them, then added the caveat that the OP would have to do a little research on his/her own. "You will have to do a little reading here."
You may not be aware that it is just as easy for you, but much easier for the OP that when you create a link for him or her to follow that you use the hyperlink tool in the reply boxes tool bar, see button highlighted in red:
Your:Would look like this: How to Use 7Zip to Create Self Extracting excutables: 5 stepsCode:http://www.wikihow.com/Use-7Zip-to-Create-Self-Extracting-excutables
And the OP can just click on the link instead of having to copy/paste into his or hers browser address bar
If you notice the highlighted semantic, and caveat links, the way you do that is to type in the word that you want, then highlight it by left-click-hold, and drag the mouse pointer over the word.
Go up to the hyperlink tool, and paste the link that you searched for to explain the word into the box, and say OK, and the word will have a link.
I do that in case a member may have pause for thought as to what the word may mean, and hopefully it strengthens the point I am trying to make.
Now, OsherHazaz, have you made any progress?
sorry for not responding so long i'll try it the soon as i can and i'll let you know
thanks for the comments
