Windows 7: software screen display messy on my computer

software screen display messy on my computer

I downloaded and installed a PDF software named PDFMate to convert my images to PDF file for work. It was easy and my Antivirus scanner didn't object or detect any threats (unlike some other JPG to PDF converter software I tried).

The problem was that the PDFMate screen display was a dog's breakfast. It was totally messy. Text was overwriting icons the BUILD button was half missing. Why did it happen? I have searched the Internet and did not found anybody else meet such problem. What should I do?

Since this PDF software has a good rating, so I prefer to try it instead of spending my time on finding some else.

The frequently used solution "uninstall and reinstall" does no help. And I believe that I downloaded the right software from PDFMate although I found it through stumbleupon. Because that page redirected me to the PDFMate homepage.

And I don't think it is the problem of malware or something, because the installation process is quite smooth and there is no options to let me install something else like annoying toolbar.

Am I the only one that have met such problem? I found some introductions and tutorials on this software and they seems normal. If anybody knows the solution, please tell me, thank you.
