I have never used gadgets and was curious if anyone had ever experienced security problems using them. I was also curious if anyone had ever used these fixes.
OS Windows 7 Pro CPU Intel(R) Pentium(R) Duel CPU E2200 2.20 Ghz Motherboard GA-G41M-ES2L Memory 4 gb 2.96 Usable Graphics Card Onboard Sound Card Onboard
I've only used the gadgets a few times, and that was when i had my gaming machine. Just to keep track of its temperature, the date, and hdd space. Never had security risk.

I usually install all relevant OS updates as they appear but this is one that will be the exception. I rely on several gadgets for the efficient operation of my system so they are going to remain in use. Sorry MS you made something attractive to use and then dumped on us. Since I run as admin with UAC disabled I figure adding one more security loophole will not be too disadvantageous!
