Windows live messenger will not sign in automatically

I have a new win 7 64 bit computer. I hae windows live messenger 2011 installed. I have it set up to sign in automatically, but when I start the computer or re-boot, it comes back to the sign in screen and the "sign in automatically box in not checked" There fore, it will not sign in automatically. I have searched every thing I know how to check and nothing helps. Is this fixable?

    Hi Renee 50

I am Sampad from Dell Social Media.

    In regards to your query

1 > Go to Control Panel
    2 > Programs and Features
3 > Locate the Windows Live 2011 program
    4 > Choose the Uninstall/Repair option
5 > Select the Repair Windows Live 2011 option

Restart the pc once repair completes.

Let me know if this worked.

    Thanks and regards,

I have already done the obvious things like repair messenger, make sure that the boxes are checked to start windows live automatically etc. It is a problem much bigger than that.. I have researched and cannot find any answers..
