error whenever i connect my mp3 player

ok this started last week. Whenever i plug in my generic mp3 player i get an error that says svchost.exe- no disk
then it reads there is no disk in the drive. please insert disk into drive \device\harddisk1\DR1
then i can click cancel try again or continue in i click any of those i get the same error but it says 2 instead of 1 then if i click out of that i get 3... untill i reach 4 then its goes away for 10 sec then comes back @ 1. also some of the time 1 in 4 tries it says ImBot ( no clue what it is and i tried to delete it) instead of svchost. also itunes will not maximise or start when is error occurs and the error doesnt stop it i unplug the mp3 player

    a few more things

the mp3 player worked all summer untill last week.
and the computer only goes back to normal when i restart it. but then i get the error once i plug the device in.
also i tried system restore but it didnt work

could this have been caused by other software?
The only thing i installed was aion but i also saw someone mooching off our internet ( now protested) after we got how from a trip could he have done something? ( i am also set as DMZ host because there is nothing valuable on this computer.

Do you have daemon tools, or some other virtual disk installed?

I think i do i used some program ( i think its magic iso) but not sure because i cant view my programs section ( start>all programs is blank since this started)

i have used daemon toolz for all my other stuff but it would just keep restarting when i tried to install it on win 7.
