Netgear WG111

    Netgear WG111


    Hello. My internet stick (netgear WG1110) doesn't work on Windows 7. It's made for Windows XP, but there are Vista drivers for... I installed those drivers, more of them btw. But they all don't work. When I want to solve the problem, Windows saids that he can't solve it...

    Somebody idea? Thanks.

    Hi,

    You will need to run the main EXE file with compatability for Vista. Just right-click the file then select 'Compatability' then Vista. Now try running it.

    I've setup Windows 7 on a mates machine and he has a Netgear WG111 and I've got it working fine for him

    Hi and welcome to sevenforums

    When you installed the vista drivers did you install them in compatibility mode? were they the correct version (32bit or 64)?

    hi all,

    sorry to bring up this thread again.
    i tried installing the "wg111v2_3_4_0" setup.exe in compatibility mode with Vista, but I still can't get it working.... anyone can help???

    here is a screenshot from the device manager...
    I am using Win7 Pro x64

    (previously I was on WinXP SP3 x86 and device is OK...)
