    An error has occurred. Not all the features were successfully changed


    When I try to use the "Turn Windows features on or off" function to add or remove anything I get "An error has occurred. Not all of the features were successfully changed." I need to remove Microsoft .net framework 3.5.1 plz help me

    Disable Microsoft .net Framework 3.5.1 would make most your app that depends on it useless..

    if you are using "Turn Windows features on or off" then it will not be uninstalled completely but only be disabled..

    You would need to use .NET Framework Cleanup Tool

    I would've used the cleanup tool but it doesnt remove 3.5 for me (removes v1.0,1.1,and 4) and it says on the .net framework setup "You must use "Turn Windows Features on or off" in the control panel to install or configure microsoft .net framework 3.5 SP1

    I know, but when i remove all versions i still cannot uninstall 3.5 still says to turn windows features on or off and i cant do that because of the error i am getting.

    In order to uninstall 3.5.1 you need to remove .NET Framework 3.5 SP1, .NET Framework 3.0 SP2 and .NET Framework 2.0 SP2 respectively. Here is the explanation for that .

    Try this and let us know.... and incase you get errors post the error code here or atleast a snapshot

    Cant uninstall it because i dont see microsoft .net framework 3.5.1, only the one i recently installed (microsoft framework 4 full).

    so whats the problem now... 3.5.1 is not there anymore... as a matter of why do you want to uninstall it....

    it works fine with other .Net...

    Still saying i have to turn "Windows Features On or Off" so i have to turn it off there to complete my installation
