    JAVA won't install

    Hi All,

I have been trying to install JAVA on my PC, and when I go to Java.com and try to download the latest version, I get an error message - 'Downloaded File Is Corrupt'

The file is Java 7 Update 5.

    Can anyone help or advise....

what browser are you running to download this with? i would at least try both google chrome and also firefox,
do you have any other java installed, if its too old, it may have troubles updating! try both of these theories and post what happened and i will try to help some more :)

    Hi there,

I have tried it in ie9, chrome and Firefox with the same error resulting.

I've scanned my pc for any versions of java installed with no result.
