Sorry, but the post left early - not sure exactly what I did to cause that to happen. After I finished writing it I posted it under Looking for a software scripting tool. Could you take a look at it.

I thought I would explore using the features in a scripting tool by automating running Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware. I have made detailed notes on the manual steps I now use.
