    Application Errors

Stupid Windows 7 had to bug itself on the right moment...

    1. Can't install Google Chrome. It says installation failed
    2. It says that Windows Live Movie Maker is installed... IT'S NOT.
It's annoying me. It says that Movie Maker is installed but the
entire "Windows Live" folder isn't even in my program files anymore.
...how do I fix this? And I ran a sfc scan, no errors.

    Please answer quick.

Can you post a snip of the error you are getting while installing chrome? And is your windows up to date?
    Do you have SP1 installed?

I fixied the Google Chrome glitch. In fact, I'm using it now. And yes, I have SP1 installed. Now, all that's left is Windows Live Movie Maker. Here's a picture.
It says that WLMM is installed. I don't have it in my program files or in the uninstall section.

See if Revo Uninstaller Pro - Uninstall Software, Remove Programs easily, Forced Uninstall finds it for you. Uninstall in advance mode.. remove the registry keys that remain.

Do a SFC /SCANNOW Command - System File Checker and reboot if violations are found.

Btw, are you using the latest version of Windows Live?

Read my first post. I already did and no errors were found. I just have to delete the registry keys located somewhere in regedit... and no, I can't install the latest version. I'm using the one from 2011.

Okay, why don't you download and install the latest version of WLM. You could at least check if it allows you to uninstall them or gives you an error on either installing or uninstalling.

There's no much difference in either.. I have it installed on my pc. Download Windows Live Messenger 2012 (16.4.3503) - FileHippo.com
