But Windows Live Mail look is different as on the other system.

My PC's Windows Live Mail head is this:

And my laptop's Windows Live Mail head is:

I don't know how to get the look of Laptop's Windows Live Mail Head, as it seems good.

Maybe Windows live mail failed to install on your(First picture) computer ? Try reinstalling.

Hello jovesharma,

It looks like you have an older version of Windows Live Essentials installed on your PC. The latest version is now Windows Essentials 2012. You can read more about it and how to download and install it at the link below if you like. Installing the new version will update your current version automatically.

Latest "Windows Essentials 2012" Version Released

Hope this helps,

Hi Everyone,
thanks for your support.
Shawn was right.
I installed the 2012 version, and it's fine now.

The next time this happens go back and read the post by Bongo (post #4).

You can choose to use the ribbon or menu bar.

Hello Bumpkin,

If you click on the OP's screenshots to enlarge them to see them better, you would see that this is not the case. Even with the ribbon/menu bar set to hide, you wouldn't see what's in the OP's top screenshot. It was because the first one was an older version. That's all.

Hi Shawn,

I should have looked at the screen shots a bit closer! Many users are confused about the ribbon/menu.

By the way, I saved the link for Essentials 2012, I have had problems with the last version not forwarding pictures inserted in email. Maybe MS has fixed the problem.
