Anybody heard of Prevx?

Anybody heard of Prevx? PC Mag just gave it the Editor's Choice Award.

Haven't heard of it here on the forum. Maybe it deserves a second look...

mmm i used to use prevx, i know it used to be a decent program, dont know how it has evolved though.. havent used it in a long time.

When ever I see a chart like that I just laugh and keep on going .. It would take a lot more than a boulder of salt for me!!

Aside from whatever bogus claims they make... they got the PC Mag Editor's choice... PC Mag categorizes them as a behavioral program like threatfire...

Yes I have heard about PrevX.
I also have one unused license on it.
PrevX uses blacklist like AV softwares, and works in 'cloud' - if you want PrevX works you have to have Internet connection if you don't then PrevX doesn't work.

Not sure if anyone has tried Prevx yet, but it has become part of my security setup. I purchased the paid version just today. Now running Prevx and Vipre along side each other and they play quite well together. It is available in both 32 and 64-bit and runs on Windows 7 just fine. More info...
