these days the school pupils get to upload their homework to the schools server ,so they never forget to hand in the homework, projects they are working on can be saved and acsessed from home, most subjects have the pupils researching using the internet, and most design classes (CDT) use auto cad etc
the pupils learn to use word for the purpose of essay writing and of course all the use of computers sets them up for the workplace that uses computers .
teachers add work to their homepages and the kids can get messages regarding classes ,timetables and more.
its not like when we were at school wiv our slates and chalk gary

I see Julian, I had an abacus and a stick to write in the dirt.
Here at Purdue University some profs are in class maybe four time a year. The beginning of semesters, mid-terms and finals.

With that in mind Adam maybe some remote desktop connection program like LogMeIn , TeamViewer, or GoToMyPC would be helpful.
