Suggest a simple regular expression html fetching tray app

I have a simple page I would like to extract the info out of and I'm wondering if someone has already programmed what I'm looking for. My university has an assigned quota that is displayed on a page and I would like to extract that info and when the tray icon is clicked, display that info. It would also need to refresh on a timer. Anyone know of something like this?
