Rocket Dock still has that "Show Desktop" bug.
I used Rocket Dock for a while. But if you have many shortcuts, it gets pretty confusing. I have now changed to using toolbars. Advantage is that you can have several (e.g. one for system programs, one for application programs, one for folders, etc.). I find that approach a lot easier to work with.
I dont use any docks as such.... The new Windows 7 taskbar is all i need to pin all the items i use..
If u can just use the taskbar, the less running the better on resources and performance.I use both rocketdock, objectdock and nexus(not all at once obviously)...When i do a new install it just depends on what mood i'm in.So i'm in the same boat, there are good things about both programs. For looks though,i would say objectdock myself.Use Moo system monitor (free) to find out which takes up most resources etc.(excellent prog for this, but doesn't look too brill.I have to put transparency down to 60% to make it look half decent)
I use Object dock Plus and it works great (uses only 5mb Ram.)
I'm a RocketDock man myself. Tried ObjectDock and that works fine but prefer RD's look. Alternatively, as Dinesh pointed out, the Windows 7 taskbar isn't bad either...
Maybe we should get some of our guys around here to make a new dock. I can see it now "7 Dock" that would be pretty cool.
Not a bad idea, cc.
