    Thanks for your specs.
It would appear your CPU, Pentium G620 is not on the supported CPU List for Maxon 4D. Minimum processor is Intel Pentium 4, yours is just Pentium.

Did you just install Maxon 4d?
    yes

The Pentium G620 is a Sandy Bridge CPU, newer architecture than the Pentium 4.
I think the newer G620 would be supported.
The CPU List link says Pentium, Pentium II, and Pentium III are not supported.

Right, it is a Pentium not a P4. the G series is a low end CPU.

I believe you will need an upgrade to a newer computer to successfully run Maxon 4D

I'll ask for more help for you. :)
    Be patient.

It may help to install a graphics card though.

Don't think you meet the system requirements for CPU, and a new graphics card might help.

I don't believe a new processor is needed.
Maxon 4D states the minimum processor needed is the Pentium 4.
I think the confusion is because Intel re-used the Pentium name.
Pentium - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Maxon 4D states the Pentium, Pentium II, and Pentium III are not supported.
I think they are referring to the original Pentium, not the new Sandy Bridge Pentium.
I'd guess they wrote that before the new Sandy Bridge Pentium was released.

I believe the current Pentium (Sandy Bridge) should meet the "Minimum Pentium 4" requirement.
The Sandy Bridge Pentium is nothing like the original Pentium released in 1993.

I could be wrong, but I would not buy a new CPU without getting confirmation from Maxon 4D that a Sandy Bridge Pentium is not supported.
