Program not in User account when installed from within Administrator.

When you install a program from within Administrator account should it automatically be available from within the User account as well?

I installed a program from within the Administrator account but when I go the the User account it is no where to be found.

Is this program specific?

It should ask you if you want to include all users on a well-written program. If you missed this option you can run a Repair or Change install from Control Panel>Programs and Features, or run the program installer again to select the option.

If the option isn't present, then you might need to install it from the User account where it is missing, which might also offer a Repair or Change install. . This is how I've handled it in the past.

So is it typical that if a person were to install a program while in the Administrator account that is would be available in the user accounts also?

Is the application start shortcut now in %userprofile%\desktop ?
Or in %public%\desktop ?

C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu is program listed there, or some subfolder?
%userprofile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu is program listed there, or some subfolder?

I just answered this question. Did you even read it? Have you tried the steps I suggested?
