PC-Doctor

I'm running Windows 7 32 bit on a HP m9040n computer. When I bought the computer new it had PC-Doctor installed with Windows Vista. Since upgrading my PC-Doctor has never worked. Is there a fix for this? Thanks

clean up apps like that generally cause more problems than they solve with windows 7.
To answer your question it's them you should be asking. Programs like that require a lot of specific information for each version of windows to even hope to work right. You vista copy shouldn't be used with win 7 even if you could get it to work. This is actually a good thing for the moment.
Best route is to find out if they ever updated pc-doctor to work with win 7.
I know system mechanic finally did but it took them a long time. (similar program)

The best fix is remove PC Doctor. Windows 7 does not need or want such programs.

This also can help and won't hurt. Run sfc /scannow 3 times boot after each. This is one of the ways Windows 7 checks it's own System Files and repairs them if it can. Their is no way of knowing what a Tune Up program has done.

All programs like this are pure junk in my opinion.they cause more harm than good, especially registry cleaner. All you need is ccleaner and defrag your hard drive and then call it a day.

Did you put a space between the sfc and the /scannow?

e.g.
sfc /scannow
