Windows 7: Cannot run Madden 08 PC after new PC build

Just finished a new PC build last night, now Madden will not run. Menu comes up and briefly shows the loading icon around the cursor and stops. No other action. Have done uninstall and reinstall with same results; keeping files in My Documents and clean uninstall and reinstall as well.
Using Win 7 Ultimate.
PC Hardware:
Intel Core i7-3770 Ivy Bridge 3.4GHz
MSI Z77A-G45 LGA 1155 Intel Z77
G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB)
MSI N560GTX Twin Frozr II/OC
SanDisk Extreme 240GB SSD (boot drive)
WD Caviar Black 2TB (Storage drive)
WD Caviar Green 1.5 TB (Backups)
ASUS DRW-24B1ST SATA DVD
Rosewill CAPSTONE 650W Modular PSU
Rosewill BLACKHAWK Gaming ATX Mid Tower

Drives and OS literally the same as I migrated the install to the new build.
Hate to think I spent $880 to not be able to run Madden
