Looking for a simple GUI for customizing bulk application installs
I've had a lot of fun recently creating batch scripts to install multiple applications sequentially in silent mode. The idea was that I could install Java, Reader, Flash, VLC and similar applications offline and completely automated.
The next thing I'd like to try and figure out is integrating a very simple GUI that would allow me to selectively choose which applications are installed. I would imagine that the batch file would refer to the GUI once the process is started and only runs the next portion of script if the appropriate check box is marked.
I know that online installers like ninite.com exist to do more or less this same thing, but I wanted something bare bones that could be fully customized with whatever install switches I needed to include.
Would love some recommendations for where to look for such a program or GUI. Thanks in advance.
