I second Britton, uTorrent is the most recommended these days. You can download from here: µTorrent - a (very) tiny BitTorrent client

Stay away from Torrents this is the worst way to download something and the chance you will get caught is pretty high !

uTorrent..........DO NOT D/L AND INSTALL VERSION 3.2.......me and my friend updated to it recently and calling it a pile of crap would be bragging on it. 3.1.3 is what I use and works flawlessly.

Why to stay away from torrents? It's actually the opposite, torrents right now are among the best channels for downloads of any kinds (since the censorship of Megaupload) and is also a good way of exchanging data between friends. And what means "get caught"?

I'm using 3.2 and works flawlessly too. What problems did you had? It just installs like all others and works the same. Except for the few banners for buying the paid version, I didn't find anything annoying with it.

It wouldn't load torrents correctly, intermittently pausing or stopping them, VERY VERY horrible d/l speeds. I uninstalled 3.2, installed 3.1.3 and everything was lovely. I did update when it first became available, they probably have worked out the bugs now.
